Apple shares edged higher as Bloomberg detailed the company's three-pronged AI wearables strategy. The tech giant is developing camera-equipped smart glasses for 2027, an AirTag-sized AI pendant, and next-generation AirPods - all designed to Tether users deeper into the iPhone ecosystem through Siri integration.

The glasses prototype, entering production this December, uses dual lenses for photography and environmental scanning. Like Meta's Ray-Ban collaboration, Apple's initial offering will forego displays, focusing instead on AI-powered visual processing. This hardware-software symbiosis mirrors crypto's infrastructure plays, where layer-2 solutions enhance blockchain utility.

Market observers note the parallel to crypto's ecosystem wars. Just as Ethereum's dominance relies on DeFi and NFT projects, Apple's wearables strategy strengthens its walled garden. The pendant device particularly echoes crypto's wearable experiments - think IoTeX's Pebble Tracker - in translating environmental data into actionable insights.
